IWCF 2018 Fall Symposium featuring Nicholas Kristof
The biennial Idaho Women's Charitable Foundation Fall Symposium provides in depth education about community needs and the opportunities for philanthropy and collaboration to positively impact the lives of people in southwestern Idaho. The 2018 Fall Symposium will examine how the impact of poverty and philanthropy contribute to the causes and cures of homelessness. Pulitzer Prize winner and Oregon native, Nicholas Kristof will be our symposium dinner keynote speaker. Kristof is a passionate human rights advocate, internationally known speaker, author, journalist, and documentary filmmaker, who has spent his career shining a spotlight on global inequities and social injustices, especially those affecting women and girls. Kristof will connect how our personal philanthropy can help address homelessness in our community.
