Mack's Glass Grand Opening
Come visit the new Mack’s Glass Studio grand opening!
This is a studio where you can gather with friends and family to create amazing works of art that contain the ashes of a loved one, human or animal.
Megan will be there to not only assist you with ideas and possibilities, but will also offer her support. Megan has been helping people through this process for years, and offers a unique customer service that is very personal and attentive. She is in touch with each client, just like you were family.
This is a place I envision people coming for healing, comfort, and growth. A place where people can create their own custom cremation glass work.
Mack’s Glass was created when our Bull Dog Mack died unexpectedly, and we were in shock. We needed something to help us process the grief together. My daughter Lauren and I decided we wanted him cremated versus being buried, so his energy would be released to the universe. Also if we ever moved we could bring his remains with us.
We found that working together in the studio, creating art, was very therapeutic. I had been designing glass for a few years, when I started playing with glass fusion and then added Mack’s ashes to the process. After probably hundreds of tries, I got the result I wanted and am proud to say it’s a product I stand behind. Both Lauren and I wear pendant’s with Mack’s ashes and are comforted knowing a part of him is always with us.
The experience of creating a piece of art that contains the remains of a loved one, whether human or pet, is deeply meaningful and restorative. It gives families a chance to be together during a difficult time, share the semotions that surround the loss of a loved one, and create an amazing piece of art that allows the dearly departed to be with us wherever we go. Through personal experience and feedback from past clients, we have learned that having a tangible representation of a loved one creates a transformation in the grief process.
For the past few years I have been making Mack’s Glass products from our home studio. Our product has brought comfort and peace of mind to people all over the world, and will continue to do so from our new studio located in the old Cloverdale Bell Tower building.
While phone and internet ordering is available, the studio will provide a comforting atmosphere for families and/or groups to be together, to learn about working with glass, and to participate in the creative process.
Please join us on Saturday, April 21st, from 2-6 pm, for our Grand Opening celebration.
