Somali Culture & Cuisine with Global Gardens
Global Gardens is excited to introduce refugee entrepreneurs Amina Mohamud and her son, Chubangu Mnongerwa, who will guide us through the preparation of the sambusa, a traditional African pastry filled with meat or vegetables. In this hands-on program, participants will learn how to make their own sambusas, and then we will enjoy a shared meal together featuring other East African foods. Recipes to take home and beverages for purchase. Registration ends Sunday, April 29th. Ages 13 and up.
