American Legion Post 101 - 2020 Armed Forces Ride
American Legion Post 101 & American Legion Riders are hosting our 2nd annual Armed Forces Ride event on Saturday, June 13th. We would like to invite the public and a lot of Veteran Motorcycle Clubs that are in the state of Idaho. Our brief ceremony will begin from 10:30 - 11am. Our Commander Daryl Hinton will lead ceremony; followed by Charles "Abe" Abrahamson, American Legion - Adjutant, Idaho Department; Lt Col Jay Labrum - 266th Range Squadron Commander. The ride will be approximately from 11am - 2pm. We've got some great donations that we'll raffle; 50/50, auction items, and selling afternoon meal (2:30pm) of hamburgers, brats, hotdogs, sides & desserts. 100% of our proceeds from the food; auction & raffle items will be put in to our "Veterans in Need" fund. This fund is used to help our local Veterans in need when they're going through hard times... such as pay a bill; purchase a hot water heater or bed; home repairs; buy a tank of gas or hotel room for the night when passing through.
