Anxiety in Youth Awareness Event

Thursday, April 25, 2019, 1:00 AM - 3:00 AM

You are cordially invited to join the Idaho Suicide Prevention Hotline, Boise State University, and the Idaho Behavioral Health Alliance for a free community screening of ANGST, a new documentary that explores anxiety, its causes and effects, and what we can do about it. The film includes interviews with kids, teens, educators, experts, parents and a very special interview with Michael Phelps. Q&A panel with professionals from around the Treasure Valley to follow film screening. Is anxiety affecting you and the people living in your community? Are you a teacher who sees many students dealing with stress or anxiety? Or a parent with children experiencing anxiety? Join us Wednesday April 24th from 6 pm - 8 pm at the BSU Special Events Center to help break the stigma around anxiety and get the discussion started today. This is a free community event. Families, educators, students, employees and members of any community can benefit from this film (appropriate for age 10 years+). Please share and forward this email to friends, family, and colleagues! Free event parking will be provided in the Lincoln garage. Visit our event page for full details and to RSVP: https://www.idahosuicideprevention.org/anxiety-in-youth-awareness-free-community-event/ ! We hope to see you there!
