Dog Behavior - An Interactive Seminar

Saturday, June 22, 2019, 4:00 PM - 11:30 PM

If you have interest in dog behavior, join us as we uncover the multiple factors influencing our dogs’ behavior:

Critical socialization windows for puppies (it may not be when you think!)

Brain development in adolescent dogs (teenage impulsiveness is totally a real thing)

Medical issues that masquerade as behavioral issues

Fear - aggression, and MUCH more!

During this interactive two-day seminar, you’ll decode complex dog behavior issues with Board Certified Veterinary Behaviorist Dr. Chris Pachel, DVM, DACVB, CABC, and learn practical, effective techniques to use when working with dogs displaying fear, anxiety, or aggression. Hear case studies, participate in round table discussions, and learn from a nationally recognized expert about the physical, physiological, and environmental influences on dog behavior, from puppyhood through senior dogs (and everything in between!).

Suitable for: dog trainers, behavior consultants, veterinary professionals, shelter/rescue workers/volunteers, and students of animal behavior!

Cost: Cost Per Person: $150 (Early Bird Special - Registered by March 1) $200 (Registering after March 1) $75 MCR Volunteers – please register at the shelter
