First Aid for Gun Shot Wounds (and more) Workshop

Come join us for a live event where Peder Humlen-Ahearn, Ada County Deputy EMS Chief, will teach and demonstrate the principles of battlefield medicine to treat various types of gunshot wounds. Developed for the everyday person, no medical knowledge or training is needed to learn these life-saving techniques including: securing and making a scene safe; stop massive hemorrhage bleeding, clear airways, tourniquet application & wound packing/bandaging, shock and hypothermia treatment, and recovery positions to maximize breathing and prevent aspiration. This is a hands-on demonstration so bring a friend or relative! $39 for USLS members, $59 for non-members. All are welcome but seating is limited so get your tickets ASAP!
