Go with the Flow Tour

Monday, June 10, 2019, 3:30 PM

On the Go with the Flow Tour participants will have the opportunity to step inside our historic water tower, learn how we drill for Meridian's drinking water, watch an emergency water supply drill, descend into the depths of a lift station, and take a walking tour of the wastewater treatment facility. This tour takes you behind the scenes of the water and sewer operations, giving you a unique look at these vital city services. Register today to find out where your water comes from and where it goes after you flush. The Go with the Flow Tour is FREE and available to those 12 years and older. A sandwich dinner is provided to tour goers. Please expect to spend (approximately) 3.5 hours on the tour. The duration can vary based on the amount of questions we get along the way -- which are welcomed! Tour goers should dress for weather, and wear close-toed walking shoes. Please don't hesitate to reach out with any questions. Space is limited and this event fills up quickly. If space is full you can register to be on the waitlist, In this case, you will be notified if spaces become available.  We look forward to giving you a glimpse into the world of Public Works.  Contact: Gina Harris -- gharris@meridiancity.org -- 208-985-1250
