KYMfest is a free family festival that hosts workshops, demonstrations, speakers, music, performances, vendors, food, and activities for all ages! We bring together family-oriented resources in the Treasure Valley that aim to reduce violence, heal trauma, and support people through life transitions.
KYMfest 2019 will take place at Lakeview Park in Nampa on Saturday July 27th from 11am to 7pm. The event will be a family-friendly celebration of life and love. Attendees can expect booths and speakers on domestic violence, mental health awareness, and enrichment workshops. Performance art, a healing garden, and interactive experiences will also be featured at KYMfest, ranging from martial arts for self-defense and anti-bullying classes to restorative yoga. Local fire department demonstrations and CPR classes will also be available. For younger children, sing-along performances and fun characters will be on hand. A wide variety of food vendors are also slated to be at the event.
All speakers and workshop presenters are donating their time to the cause, and there is still room for those interested in volunteering their services. Event organizers are also still looking for general donations and volunteers for the day of the event. KYMfest 2019 will take place at Lakeview Park in Nampa on Saturday July 27th from 11am to 7pm.
