Public Tree Climbing Adventure
See the world from a tree’s view, connect with friends and family, and experience the unique power of trees like never before.
Public tree climbing is here. We will be climbing the lovely sycamore trees outside the entrance to the Idaho Botanical Garden. You will use ropes and harnesses designed especially for trees that keep you elevated and secure in the treetops, and also protect the tree from harm. Once in the tree, climbers can limb walk, bat hang, or ring bells suspended from branches.
Climbs start every hour from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., with groups of up to six people climbing at one time. Please come 10 minutes before your scheduled climb. Price is $25 per person, all taxes and fees included, and space is limited. All climbers must sign a liability waiver, and minors must have a waiver signed by their parent or guardian. Register at the calendar at this link: https://www.canopywatch.com/home/services-4/
What to wear: pants, or at least long shorts, and close-toed shoes are a must. Close-fitting shirts are preferred to lose ones. Long hair needs to be braided or tied back. Leave your jewelry at home.
Our covid-19 policy is on our website. To keep everyone safe, all participants must wear masks at the beginning and end of the climb. We will too.
