STEM Summer Camp Robotics Engineering and Game Design | Grades 3rd-8th
STEM disciplines covered: Mechanical Engineering, Robotics Engineering, Hardware Engineering, Coding, Game Design.
Camp Description: During the ﬁrst part of camp, students will be introduced to STEM fundamentals through the world of Robotics. Students will design, build, and program their robots to accomplish speciﬁc tasks. They will use the Engineering Design Process in a real-world setting as they test and improve the performance of their robots. Through these engaging hands-on activities, they will develop intuitive and fundamental skills.
During the second part of camp, students will learn the basics of video game design. They will be immersed in the study and practice of video game design. Students will use the Engineering Design Process to create a storyboard and outline the rules of play for their game.
