Six Weeks to Success - April Intermediate Obedience Class
Group obedience classes are designed to teach you training techniques in a progression that works best for you and your dog. Some dogs are motivated by food, some are motivated toys, and some are motivated by your attention or praise. We take our experience and help you apply what works for you and your dog. Plus you get the added benefit of learning by watching each other. The 1 hour long intermediate class builds off of the basic obedience class adding new skills, duration, distance, and distractions. You must have attended one of our basic obedience classes or private lessons to attend the intermediate class. Class dates are April 25th, May 2nd, 9th, 16th, 23rd, and 30th from 6:30pm-7:30pm New Skills include; "Look" at me command Advanced luring The hand touch The place command Touch pads The stand Contact Heeling Intermediate recall drills Group heeling movements
