Summertime Stories: Mailing May

Tuesday, July 16, 2019, 5:30 PM - 6:00 PM

Mail carriers make sure that letters and packages get delivered safely and on time. What if the important package that they were caring for was you? Learn more about the story of Mailing May by Michael O. Tunnell and illustrated by Ted Rand. Afterwards, join our scavenger hunt and then decode clues to deliver mail to their correct destinations in the Museum.
Summertime Stories is a fun learning activity at the Idaho State Museum every Tuesday during the summer. Ideal for children Pre-K through 2nd Grade and their caregivers. Each week, we’ll explore a different theme that highlights the stories and people of Idaho. Governor Brad Little and Idaho’s First Lady Teresa Little have funded this program by a generous donation.
