Swim with Swain
Idaho Business for the Outdoors presents:
Boise River: Source to Snake
Featuring New York water-quality activist, Christopher Swain.
Swain, who is known for his long-distance swims in less-than-reputable water, will be swimming more than 100 miles of the Boise River. His goal is to promote swimmable, drinkable, and fishable water all across the globe, and this summer, Idaho will pave the way in setting a high water-quality standard.
Join us at Lucky Peak State Park, Sandy Point Beach, on Saturday August 24 from 10 am to noon for the opportunity to meet Swain and enjoy Idaho's beautiful natural resources.
Explore vendor booths, participate in educational activities, and listen to expert speakers in the field.
Stop by Kristin Armstrong Park by 9 am to group-bike to the event. Thanks to Boise Bike Project for organizing the ride!
All are welcome. Come support your local waterways!
