The Unfolding of the Untitled

Wednesday, January 30, 2019, 12:30 AM - 2:30 AM

The Unfolding of the Untitled
Mark W. McGinnis
January 27th- March 3rd, 2019

Reviving his textural techniques from the 1980s and 1990s, Mark W. McGinnis presents a sampling of the evolution of his untitled paintings and small sculptures created from 2016 to the present. Inspired by early Modernists and Euclidean geometry, the artwork morphs from one stylistic phase to another. The non-objective content encourages the viewer to enjoy the color, shape, and texture for what it is rather than associative imagery or meaning.

Exhibition Location
Student Union Trueblood Gallery, Boise State University

Exhibition Reception
Tuesday January 29th, 2019 4:30 – 6:30 PM

Event is free and open to the public.
Light refreshments will be served.
