WaterShed Weekend - Boise River Investigators

Free family fun! How's the health of the Boise River? Participants will become scientists and test the physical, chemical and biological health of Boise River water. There will also be macroinvertebrates (water bugs) to identify and learn about how they help determine water quality. Plus create some amazing art and participate in other fun activities! WATERSHED WEEKEND INFORMATION Free family fun! No tickets required. A Water Renewal Facility tour will be held at 11:30 AM for ages 5 and up and closed - toed shoes are required. All activities will take place outdoors, weather permitting. Please note that face masks are required on all guests age 2 and older indoors. Face masks are not required outside in the river campus, unless within 6 feet of other guests. Physical distancing between groups is required. No groups of ten or more please. Masks are required when interacting with staff or volunteers at any outdoor stations. Programming is subject to change based on current COVID-19 regulations.
